Admissions Policy
Subject to numbers and finances, Polam Hall School offers a place to any pupil who is able to benefit from the traditional, academic education we provide.
Pupils are admitted irrespective of academic ability, provided that our Learning Support Unit can meet their needs.
Pupils with physical special needs are welcomed in line with the School’s Disability Policy.
Main points of entry to the School are
• Nursery
• Foundation Stage
• Year 3
• Year 7
• Year 10 (mainly new boarders)
• Year 12 (mainly new boarders)
We admit pupils at other stages when space is available.
All students are asked to take diagnostic tests in key subjects to facilitate setting or to identify special needs. Overseas students are asked to complete an EAL paper.
Records are sought from previous schools.
