Lunch is compulsory in all years up to and including Sixth Form, for which there is an additional charge of £175. Basic text books are lent without charge (unless lost or damaged) and essential stationery is provided free. The boarding fee includes all meals and laundry of school clothing. Pupils' personal possessions are covered by the school’s own insurance policy subject to certain conditions. Public examination fees are not included. Transport for school sports fixtures is provided free under normal circumstances. The cost of daily transport to and from school is not included. Day pupils can be accommodated as occasional boarders for short periods where space permits in order to meet the needs of individual families. A charge of £35 per night is made.
An additional charge of £300 per term is made for girls for whom English is not their first language and who have not yet reached a score of Level 6.5 of the International English Language Test Series.
REGISTRATION FEES AND DEPOSITS
A non refundable registration fee of £50 is payable on application. A deposit is payable on acceptance of a place, refundable against the final term’s fees as follows:

FEE REDUCTIONS
A reduction of 10% is made for pupils who have an older sibling attending the School or an older brother attending Hurworth House School. A reduction of 10% may be offered for boarding girls whose parents are serving members of the Armed Forces but can not be combined with a reduction for younger siblings. Fees for weekly boarders are reduced by £200 per term.
EXTRAS - Charged in advance
Music - Individual music tuition, per instrument: £195 for 10 lessons per term. Where pupils share a lesson, the fee is reduced. Tuition fees in excess of 30 lessons per year will be £19.50 per lesson.
Speech and Drama - £195 per term.
EXTRAS - Charged in arrears
Ballet - £95 per term.
Other Disbursements - Charged at cost
ADDITIONAL CHARGES FOR “JUNIOR EXTENDED DAY” PUPILS
(Includes supervision by members of staff)
- 8.00 a.m. to 9.00 a.m. £4.00 per day (includes full breakfast)
- Between end of school and 5pm pupils are supervised free of charge.
- 5pm to 6pm £5 per day (includes light meal)
- 5pm to 7pm £8 per day (includes full evening meal)
(Accounts that remain unpaid after the first day of each term will be subject to a surcharge of 2.5% per month on outstanding balances each month thereafter)
Polam Hall operates a scheme whereby the payment of school fees can be made monthly. Holmwoods Termtime Collections administer the scheme and further details can be found on their website.
