Parents Association

Are you keen in becoming more involved in supporting your child’s education? Are you interested in raising funds for both the school and charitable purposes? Are you looking to make friends with other parents of children at Polam Hall and take part in fun social events?

If yes, then Polam Hall Parents Association (PHPA) welcomes you!

Come to the next PHPA meeting, meet our new Headmaster, and find out how you could help

Thursday 29th September - 7pm - Senior School Library
All Welcome!

The Association has a committee made up of parents and friends from a cross section of year groups within the School. Whilst School staff are not members of the Association, their support and attendance at meetings and events is greatly appreciated.

New members and volunteers are always welcome and not just parents – grandparents, aunts, uncles , old scholars - all are most welcome to join. It is a great way to meet others and to feel part of the Polam Hall ‘family’.

Take a look at our Events & Activities page to get an idea of what we do.

As well as the wider committee, we have the usual posts of Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary and Treasurer. Our policy is that these posts are held for a maximum of two years. By doing so, we hope to encourage new members to get more involved safe in the knowledge that they can complete their term without feeling obliged to continue for longer than they might have originally intended!

Committee meetings are usually held twice a term in the evenings. Our last AGM was held on 27 April 2010, and you can read the Chairman's report by clicking the link below:
