Junior School

'Children love to learn' in our Junior School where the unique talents of every boy and girl are nurtured in a vibrant, happy and friendly environment.

Our new Foundation Stage and Infant Department ensure that our youngest children enjoy a stimulating, creative educational experience appropriate to their age and development. Girls and boys up to the age of 11 can take advantage of the excellent education available at Polam Hall.

The SureStart Nursery Grant continues to be available for 3 and 4 year olds and, dependent on the child's date of birth, is payable during the Foundation Stage.

From Year 1 the children are encouraged to reach their individual potential in a prep school where learning is fun and where enthusiastic, dedicated staff help all pupils achieve the highest possible academic standards.

Children join us from a wide area covering Darlington, Durham, Northallerton, Richmond, Barnard Castle, Middlesbrough and the Teesvalley.
