Economics

Economics is a fascinating subject which requires an interest in current affairs and the economy.

The AS course is made up of two units; 'Markets and Market Failure' and 'The National Economy'.

In unit one you will study microeconomics and in unit two macroeconomics at a basic level. Both examinations are made up of short answer questions (multiple choice) and longer data response questions.

The A2 course also has two units; 'Business Economics and the Distribution of Income' and 'The National and International Economy'. These examinations are made up of longer data response questions and essays.
